I was very impressed with the excellent customer service, not always that easy to find. I ordered two new arms for the and ailing Ellard lifting gear on my heavy Wessex garage door. The prompt response was impressive since it was a Sunday and not an automated response. I was then personally contacted next morning by 0930 asking me for more detail of the problem since they were unhappy passing on a recent excessive price increase (by Manufacturer). By midday they had identified a supplier of some replacement bearings to enable refurbishment of my existing arms which was fine since they were otherwise OK. I received the replacement parts by the Thursday and they cost less than 15% of the complete arms. I was totally impressed by the way Amourelle Ltd went the extra mile and I was kept totally informed with the progress of my order. Worth noting I believe the company now stock these replacement bearings for the Wessex arms which seem to have been deliberately priced beyond the worthwhile point by the manufacturer

I lost the remote control for a very old Apex 375 garage door operator, with the original Apex remote controls no longer available I was told by a local company I would have to fit a complete new system at a cost of £465. I sent an email to Amourelle to ask for advice; seconds later I had a reply and my answer. Nick at Amourelle recommended the Seip EKR1MCT mains powered receiver upgrade kit, well it done what it says on the side of the tin and at a fraction of the cost of a new system. We needed a replacement door, the previous one was twisted and too heavy to manoeuvre, besides which, it had a mind of it's own! We now have a smart new fully functioning electric door with a handy button in the house so we don't get wet waiting in the rain when we go out to the garage. which is great. I have just successfully converted two Marley canopy type garage doors to the fully retractable type using Arcadian AP100 replacement gear kits and then automated both of them using Seip TS75 electric operators complete with the Securidor AP2000 automatic multi-point locking system. First of all, the service I received from Amourelle was second to none. Next, the support for the DIY'er is excellent. The whole operation was straightforward and Amourelle provide additional fitting instructions to support the manufacturers' own. The conversion was confidently (and enjoyably) carried out, knowing that Nick was available to answer questions should that need arise. (Glad to say it didn't) I have strongly recommended Amourelle to others.

Our garage door cable broke on Sunday afternoon. From the manufacturers name label on the door (Garador) a search on the internet lead me to your company website, I placed an order for a pair of replacement cables on Sunday evening for next day delivery with the instructions of where to leave goods if no one in. Nick e-mailed back to say that as Royal Mail next day delivery (RMSD) required a signature he had downgraded the order to first class post. The goods arrived first thing on Tuesday morning - the garage door was 'back in action' by Tuesday lunchtime and by downgrading our order we saved on the cost of next-day delivery and still got it next day. I had decided to convert my canopy door to a retracting door, my old gear was quite worn but the door was still in good condition, so I began looking for suitable replacement door gear (not as easy as I had thought) Visiting all the DIY stores & door suppliers I was told you can only buy the gear with a new door and a conversion cannot be done. A spring had broken on my garage door. Really excellent service and by people who properly know their products. I had an old Hormann handset to replace and Amourelle Ltd advised me exactly what I needed. I ordered the replacement on-line, but I had made a small error in my credit card details (I had copied one of the numbers down wrongly) and they phoned me in the morning to explain that there was a problem. I corrected my error, the order was processed there and then and the new hand set arrived in the post at 7.15 am the next morning. It works perfectly. The best service I have ever had on the web.
