Amourelle have got to be the best company for service that I have ever been in contact with. Nothing is ever too much trouble, in fact, they will often suggest a solution that is less expensive for you and more work for them. They will respond at hours normally reserved for the 'I'm sorry, but the office is closed now' voicemails. I don't think I've ever had to leave a message on a machine. Their staff (both office and field) know their products and the market well and will advise you on the phone. Amourelle fitted an automatic door opener to my (new) double garage door the same month we moved in, in 1995, since then, they have also fitted one of their patented Securi-Dor automatic locking systems and maintained the door. I just wanted to compliment Amourelle Products on their internet service. The help I received from in tracking down a suitable lock for my old King garage door was spot on. The replies were prompt (the other companies I contacted have either not got back to me or were nowhere near as helpful). I ordered the Henderson lock online last Thursday and it arrived on Friday. I installed it on Saturday whilst my husband gave the children breakfast! We have been in this house for 3 years and have never been able to unlock the garage door from the outside. Yet in the space of 4 days last week we have tracked down a lock, had it delivered and installed it, all thanks to the Amourelle excellent service. I am a full time mum of 2 boys (a third due in 6 weeks) and rely on the internet heavily for information and shopping etc. My husband doesn’t have the time to try and sort these things out at work. Whilst I’m not a complete fool when it comes to things technical/mechanical/diy, it is quite refreshing to be able to get something like this sorted so easily! I really didn’t want or need a whole new garage door. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Amourelle.

My garage door, a Garador, is over 35 years old. When one of the springs finally decided it had had enough my first thought was a new door. However having done such sterling service and with hardly a blemish on the door I decided to punch 'Garador' into the search engine of the internet and it came up with an Aladdin's cave called Amourelle Products Ltd. A few clicks and a couple of days later the parts I ordered arrived and over the weekend (actually about 3-4 hours with the help of my son) some major surgery to the door mechanism was successfully carried out, ie. new spring box, new cables and a new set of rollers, and the door is now as good as new. I had not known of Amourelle before but I can safely say that they saved my garage doors' life, I (and the door!), can't thank them enough and I reckon they saved me a couple of hundred quid as well!!! Highly recommended.

With such an easy to use web site, I had found the transmitter and receiver to replace my old (and obsolete) kit within a matter of minutes, along with details of compatibility and installation instructions. A phone call to clarify a few points was then dealt with by Nick in a knowledgeable, courteous and efficient manner. The equipment was ordered via the web at around 9.45am, and I received confirmation of the order at 10.25am and despatch at 15.35pm on the same day. My garage remote controller, sadly got squashed! with no chance of mouth to mouth resus, just gone KAPUT! Tears all around, no amount of comforting would suffice. Then the 'WEB' appeared, and low and behold 'Amourelle' was found. Our sorrow turned to joy. An exact replacement was found and delivered the next day. Within a few minutes the new Remote was up and running. Tears of sorrow turned to tears of joy. Our original Garage Door installer had said that a replacement could not be found, and offered to change the full Transmitter & Receiver for an enormous amount of money. Having recently moved house I found that one of my garage door operators was lacking a remote control. This was ordered and promptly received with full instructions on programming. Unfortunately this remote did not work as I had an American receiver. The remote was therefore returned for a full refund against an upgrade receiver. I again had problems fitting this receiver due to an unusual wiring arrangement. I contacted Amourelle and had a response within the hour. My new remote was up and running ten minutes later. Throughout the problems encountered I have found the level of service and knowledge at Amourelle to be first rate helping me out of a difficult situation and making the process a painless one. After putting up with a motorised canopy garage door with a canopy arm adaptor that failed to open properly for two years. I have just converted the door to the horizontal tracked system, with my existing motor unit. I recently converted my 15 year old steel Garador canopy type doors, which needed converting to horizontal tracking before I could fit the Seip M50 motor kit. Delighted by the service offered by Amourelle. The remote control for my Hormann stopped working properly about six months ago. The manufacturers couldn't have been less concerned - they simply gave me the name of their local agent. He told me that the control was obsolete. Some time later, he left an answer on our recording machine, saying that he had found a replacement. I asked him to order it. After four or five reminders, I came to the conclusion that he was never going to deliver. I left matters as they were until recently, when we decided to put our house on the market, and thought that a non-operating door wouldn't give the best impression. I found what seemed to be a satisfactory substitute on the Amourelle website this morning. I sent an e-mail asking for further information, received a reply almost immediately, and placed an order. The new remote is in the first class post, less than four hours after I first contacted Amourelle. If all British companies would concentrate on providing first class customer service like Amourelle, instead of wasting their energies on moaning about the Government, the euro, and the world economy, and would try a to be a little less rude and unhelpful to their customers, we should all be much better off!

An electrical engineer by profession. I could see how the associated paperwork and instructions might be daunting to less practical people. Have just self converted/installed a Garador vertical track canopy type door to horizontal tracked operation with a Seip M50 remote system. Excellent service from initial E-mail to delivery, installation and instructions. Fully recommended service.
