Excellent service by Nick!  My two Cardale canopy type garage doors were re-hung with new Arcadian horizontally tracked lifting gear and automated with a pair of Seip TM60 electric operators in just a few hours.  I would recommend the service to anyone who is interested,  Nick is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have just completed the conversion of an old Garador 3c canopy door using Amourelle's AP100 tracked door gear set and a Seip TS 75B operator. I ordered a Seip TM60 door operator on-line, it arrived well packed the following day, on-time.  It took me (an OAP) 3.5 hours and two phone calls to Nick to have it installed and working on my door.  My mistake was to work from the manufacturer's instructions loose in the carton, whereas Nick's own version of the instructions were in a sealed pack of goodies which I didn't open at first because I thought the sheet of paper related to the wire etc I could see in the pack.  Nick's own version of the fitting instructions are much clearer and more helpful, nevertheless the job went well and the door is a treat to use.  I should have done this earlier, and now my wife is wanting one for her garage door.  I have started saving up !

I have just successfully converted two Marley canopy type garage doors to the fully retractable type using Arcadian AP100 replacement gear kits and then automated both of them using Seip TS75 electric operators complete with the Securidor AP2000 automatic multi-point locking system.  First of all, the service I received from Amourelle was second to none.  Next, the support for the DIY'er is excellent.  The whole operation was straightforward and Amourelle provide additional fitting instructions to support the manufacturers' own.  The conversion was confidently (and enjoyably) carried out, knowing that Nick was available to answer questions should that need arise.  (Glad to say it didn't) I have strongly recommended Amourelle to others.

I had a Seip TS 75 chain driven garage opener fitted to my door in March 2004 and I have to say it is 100% -  The door opener had prior to the Seip was a Wessex Lift Boy screw driven type which just gave in.   This Seip TS 75 is so quiet and reliable, the garage is used a lot having the freezer in there but this is no problem for the TS 75  I would recommend Amourelle to any one who is considering a replacement.  Mr Stubbs

Amourelle to the rescue again !  We suffered some vandalism to our double garage door, luckily it's strong construction weathered the assault, but the side fixing suffered the brunt of the attempted forced entry. Amourelle & Nick recovered the situation. Just a few days before Easter I mailed Nick of the problem and asked if he could rectify the wonky door and fit a Securi-Dor automatic locking device. Only two days later Nick arrived, with his mobile workshop in tow. A studied inspection of the double door, judicial use of various socket spanners and the door was once again well and truly aligned. Within the hour Nick had also fitted his Securi-Dor AP2000 automatic locking device and a pair of side bolts, which act in concert with the SEIP TS 75 electric door opener. Now the double door is very secure and ready to withstand even a heavy hammering (though I hope the local yobs wont try again). Well done Amourelle & Nick. I'll be pleased to recommend you to anyone who asks.

I recently fitted a SEIP TS100 heavy duty double door operator plus a Securi-Dor AP2000 automatic security locking kit from Amourelle.  Both are excellent products, easy to order, first class professional service and with a little help over the phone from Nick I was able to install and have up and running in about 3 hours which included fixing some timber framing supported from the pitched roof to support the operator. It is very smooth and quiet - I can't understand why I didn't get one of these years ago! Have now introduced a friend to the same "luxury".

I was disappointed when a local garage door company informed me that my (Garador) garage doors could not be motorised, and that I would need to replace them if I wanted remote controlled operation. However, I need not have worried; I found Amourelle's website and everything else was child's play. I ordered two sets of replacement door gear, which took me about six hours to fit (i.e. total time for TWO doors). It is wonderful quality gear, and you don't need a degree in rocket science to fit it. Then I ordered two Seip TM60 remote controlled electric operators; again, excellent equipment which was straight forward to fit and is wonderfully effective. I encountered a couple of minor problems along the way (with my particular installation, not with the equipment) and a phone call to Nick at Amourelle had it all sorted in seconds. Amourelle's equipment, prompt delivery and customer service are second to none. It is refreshing to find a company with such 'old fashioned' customer value!

Nick fitted a new Seip electric operator to my Cardale garage door about a year ago. Over the weekend (Sunday) a door spring broke. (15+ years old)  Following emails on Sunday through the evening a pair of new springs were despatched which arrived Tuesday plus an email from Nick on how to fit them. I have a pair of Wessex GRP canopy garage doors, for which the spares I needed weren't available, and when one mechanism totally failed, I was left with the problem of trying to avoid changing both doors. With Nick's helpful advice I was single-handedly able to convert my faulty GRP canopy door into an automated up-and-over door using the Arcadian AP100 conversion kit (plus corner reinforcing plates) and a Seip TS75 remote controlled door operator. It was a straight-forward DIY job, assisted by Nick's very helpful additional notes that clarify exactly what needs to be done. It has been a delight to use, and when the remote temporarily stopped working he had it back to me, sorted, within 3 days by post - remarkable. It is a quality product supported by someone who not only understands it fully, but who goes out of his way to ensure that the whole installation and owning experience is a good one. I placed an order for a TS75 around 12.00 noon, had it confirmed about an hour later. It arrived the following morning, and was mostly fitted by the afternoon. After 18 years of service, my original garage door operator printed circuit failed. A replacement was no longer available. I live within 20 miles of Reading so Amourelle's proprietor Nick Goldring, was able to make a site visit with his mobile workshop, he provided and fitted a replacement, a SEIP TS 75, which operates more smoothly and quietly than the previous mechanism. This took Nick just over an hour to complete, and included a maintenance check on our existing garage door mechanism, during which he made some important adjustments, these have made the door move in a more stable way. First class service, and very quick response, pride in his company and in the job he does, - refreshing in today's world.

After splendid advice from Amourelle a Seip TS75 arrived to replace the aged Henderson 800 operator (which had clanged the door closed far too hard one last time after over 20 years work!) DIY installation was reasonably straightforward and together with serious overhaul adjustments and part replacements to the double door, was completed in 1.5 days - single handed! Well Nick, you've done it again!! First class service, and very quick response.  When my original garage door operator went Kaput!!!. no amount of searching could find an identical replacement.  but 'Amourelle' came to the rescue. Not only a replacement, but in my view a replacement of far superior quality. The item in question, a 'SEIP TS 75 operator and a couple of keyfob controllers.  Nick himself did the installation work on our double garage door, in and out just like 'Flash Gordon'.   A lovely job which included a maintenance check on our existing garage door mechanism.     I know my recommendation is a little late coming - just my own laziness  - the job was completed back in in May 2003.  The Seip TS75 operator is so whisper quiet that I often have to look twice to make sure the door is working.  Well done Nick and the rest of the team.

For those of you with an old LIFT BOY GB1 electric operator.  My wife informed me the garage door wasn't working Tuesday night.  A quick look confirmed that after 15 years, it was falling apart! A quick search of the web led me to believe LIFT BOY was no more but I was directed to AMOURELLE. After a good look at their excellent website, I phoned at gone 8'o'clock to find Nick still at work. He was able to answer all my questions, and some, and I subsequently ordered a replacement Seip TS75 operator on his site. It arrived 9.45am Thursday and it really was a very simple job to remove the old LIFT BOY operator and replace it with the Seip TS75.  Comprehensive instructions and all the bits I needed. I spent a lot of time servicing the door itself (lack of attention over the years) but still had whole job done by tea. The Seip TS75 is a huge step forward from the old LIFT BOY - so quiet and lots of features. Very impressed Nick - thank you.

What a comprehensive web-site! Full of just the useful information I needed to know; it helped me make my choice of the Seip TS75 with Securi-Dor automatic locking package.  Despite a slight hiccough with the courier, the kit arrived exactly when and where agreed. Installation was very straightforward - with only one technical phone-call to Nick (fielded expertly!) The Securi-Dor add-on has ensured that existing latch-locks remain active, and security has not been compromised. The unit is smooth and quiet in use, and provides excellent ease of operation. I bought a Seip TS75 operator and Securi-Dor AP2000 automatic locking system.  Service and delivery efficient and helpful, thank you.  I had a few queries which were dealt with very nicely.  I also learnt some things which may be of use to others if they wish to fit the Securi-Dor device to older garage doors: -  You need to make sure the top of the door has a mechanical end stop to press hard up against when it closes, e.g. a piece of steel fixed to the top rear face of the door which makes contact with the frame, or a timber door-stop fitted across the frame header - this will also cut down drafts. The Seip operator unit doesn't need this but the Securi-Dor automatic locking system certainly does, so if you can see daylight above the top of the door when closed then you need to do something about it.

I would recommend Amourelle without hesitation. The after sales service has been 1st class over the 6 years we have been involved with Amourelle. I was suddenly confronted with a broken garage door tracking arm. One call, and Nick from Amourelle advised on the appropriate replacement lifting gear (AP250). I am pleased that I also ordered the Seip TS75 remote controlled motor. The prompt delivery together with the explicit installation instructions made this an enjoyable D.I.Y. project. Further Nick's tireless telephone support was comforting, especially when fine tuning the door balance and programming the Seip electric operator.  I would certainly recommend Amourelle's high quality products which is complemented by Nick's superb after sales service. I made one telephone call & spoke to both Yvonne & Nick Goldring & explained that my garage door operating mechanism was no longer reliable. I replaced a broken 25-year-old Henderson electric actuator with a new Seip TS75 unit. Amourelle have got to be the best company for service that I have ever been in contact with. Nothing is ever too much trouble, in fact, they will often suggest a solution that is less expensive for you and more work for them. They will respond at hours normally reserved for the 'I'm sorry, but the office is closed now' voicemails. I don't think I've ever had to leave a message on a machine. Their staff (both office and field) know their products and the market well and will advise you on the phone.  Amourelle fitted an automatic door opener to my (new) double garage door the same month we moved in, in 1995, since then, they have also fitted one of their patented Securi-Dor automatic locking systems and maintained the door. Amourelle installed Seip electric openers to three pairs of existing side hinged 'barn-doors' last year. The work was done extremely efficiently and neatly, and since then they have been almost trouble-free. We had one problem with the floor bolt locking on one door, and this was quickly fixed with a visit from Amourelle. Highly recommended !

After putting up with a motorised canopy garage door with a canopy arm adaptor that failed to open properly for two years. I have just converted the door to the horizontal tracked system, with my existing motor unit.  It was easily converted with just a couple of minor problems (not reading the instructions properly), the door now opens fully and I don't have to worry about hitting my head anymore. I recently converted my 15 year old steel Garador canopy type doors, which needed converting to horizontal tracking before I could fit the Seip electric motor kit. An electrical engineer by profession. I could see how the associated paperwork and instructions might be daunting to less practical people. However, a SEIP electric operator and Amourelle's patented Securi-Dor AP2000 automatic locking system were all fitted and commissioned within a day. Because of the straightforwardness of the instructions, and Nick's ability to exchange JPEGS with ourselves on detailed installation.  A picture not only tells a thousand words, but its also handy to have the expert "on tap!"
